Trial Day Requirement

All new dogs must complete a trial day prior to boarding approval. This trial day is a half day, scheduled during the week within standard drop-off and pick-up windows. During this time, your dog will be independently evaluated to ensure compatibility and safety. We kindly ask that owners remain accessible throughout the trial period.

Personal Items & Familiar Comforts

Owners are welcome to provide personal items such as beds, blankets, clothing, or favorite toys for their dog’s stay. Familiar scents and belongings from home can help many dogs feel more relaxed, comfortable, and settled while away from home.

Feeding

Please bring the food and treats your dog is accustomed to eating during their stay. We kindly ask that all meals be pre-portioned into individual servings and clearly labeled with your dog’s name and the food brand/type.

For stays longer than 3 days, provide an appropriate amount of food for your dog’s entire stay. Include a note with feeding instructions, including portion sizes and feeding frequency.

Raw food is accepted but requires the basic care add on.

Scheduling

All drop-offs and pick-ups must take place within the designated time windows of 6:00 AM–8:00 AM,12:00 PM-2:00PM, and 5:00 PM–7:00 PM. By appointment only

Vaccination Requirements

For the health and safety of all dogs in our care, all dogs attending Bermuda Kennels must be up to date on core vaccinations, including Rabies, DHPP/DAPP, and Bordetella (or equivalent). Dogs must also be on a current flea and tick prevention program.

Vaccination records and proof of flea and tick prevention must be provided prior to, or at the time of, your dog's stay.

Medication

All medications must be clearly labeled and provided in a pill organizer with clear instructions for administering the medication.
